Drama In The Dale Presents......... Posted on 22 September 2012 by Steve Thompson9 April 2022

19th September 2012 was the final steering panel meeting held in the place where the Bonny Moorhen story began, The Bonny Moorhen in Stanhope. The Drama in the Dale story began at the Station House Frosterley almost a year ago. In a way this is a sad parting of ways for some but it is also the start of something new. DitD has been constituted as a Social Enterprise, a committee formed and officers appointed.

The meeting tonight played host to both the old steering panel and the new committee. Some people were members of both but generally the committee is strong on local Dales folk and people who participated in the community play. Pictured below, the outgoing chair of the Steering Panel, James Percy hands over to the incoming chair of the Social Enterprise, Liz Gill. The story to be told in this account has concluded but the story of Drama in the Dale goes on. Visit www.dramadale.co.uk

On the final session of Digital Mapping the team produced what you see below. There was a great deal of excitement when we made these – so much so that we forgot to take pictures. Those of you who are smart phone enabled will recognise the hieroglyphics below as QR codes. These are scanned in to a smart phone and each one takes you to a different place on the Dramadale Digital Map.
